Lucifer, or Lcf for short, is presumed to be some sort of development-codename of everything about the system-design and programming of RPG Maker 2000 back in the day when Yoji Ojima was creating it. Inside the Delphi class TFormLcfFakeMain, the program still refers to itself as the "Lucifer Constructor" (involving a typo making it result in "Lcuifer"). The abbreviation "Lcf" was also used for naming RPG2000's proprietary formats for some types of data-files and the program also came with its own graphics-format.
